Overview: How MSME Classification Works
📌 TL;DR - Turnover Certificate for MSME Classification Services at a Glance
MSMEs are classified on composite criteria - investment and turnover - revised from 1 April 2025: Micro up to Rs 10 crore turnover, Small up to Rs 100 crore, Medium up to Rs 500 crore. Udyam auto-classifies from GST and ITR data. A CA turnover certificate is needed where that data is missing, disputed, or separately demanded by a bank or scheme.
Get a CA-certified turnover certificate for your MSME classification - the document banks, schemes, and the Udyam portal rely on when your turnover figure needs independent verification. Udyam auto-classifies from your GST and ITR data, but where that data is missing, disputed, or not yet reflected, a CA turnover certificate is what resolves it. We certify your turnover under the revised 2025 criteria, with a verifiable UDIN.
Both criteria apply together: if an enterprise crosses the ceiling on either investment or turnover, it moves to the next category. Exports are excluded from the turnover calculation, and all GSTINs under one PAN are treated as a single enterprise. For the registration itself, see our Udyam registration service.
