Common Mistakes to Avoid in PAN Registration

Mistake 1: Applying with only Aadhaar as DOB proof after April 2026. From 1 April 2026, Aadhaar is no longer accepted as standalone date of birth proof for PAN applications. Mistake 2: Name mismatch between Aadhaar and PAN application. From April 2026, your PAN name is taken directly from Aadhaar.
